welcome to the

Juniper Community Centre

Where we come together...

community

a place to gather

Welcome to the Juniper Community Centre, located at the headwaters of the beautiful Miramichi River, in the District of Carleton North, New Brunswick. Come explore our former schoolhouse and all we have to offer. The rich history of the area and of our building is the focus of our History Room.

After touring, take some time to dine in Millie’s Tea Room and shop in The Community Closet. Bring your children to the playground or walk our nature trail before you leave.

If you’re looking for a full-service venue, book the facility for your meetings or events.

And don’t forget to check out our Facebook page (link) and events calendar to stay up-to-date with our hours and what’s happening at the centre.

how to support us

The Juniper Community Centre is operated largely by volunteers using grants, employment programs and donations. There are many ways to support our efforts to maintain our building and property, and to allow us to continue offering services and programs which serve our rural community.

Contact us to discuss how you can contribute!

There is a lot to see and do at the community centre. Enjoy a homemade meal in Millie’s Tea Room or find unique treasures at The Community Closet. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes and tap your toes to some lively music and share some refreshments at the monthly jamborees.

Watch our calendar for seasonal highlights:

Help us celebrate at the summer barbeque.

Enjoy the drive through colourful leaves when you attend the annual fall quilt show.

Be a guest or a vendor at the Christmas craft fair.

Whatever your tastes or interests, we have something for you. See our event calendar or Facebook page for up-to-date information on all of our events.
